I'm pretty jealous ☹ that I'm missing out the Coachella vibes.

I'm ain't in the category of hipster,flower child but i certainty love the non-mainstreams.

I do love my Starbucks, Fast & Furious and Sam Smiths

but I must say the sub-genres do have a special place in my heart

(Geez, I sound so Cheesy)

just a side track:

Back in late 2012, I fell in love with Bastille ; Bad blood & Flaws (Abbey road) through the side nav bars on Youtube.(Back then, their youtube videos had approx 130 00 hits only. Comparing to a mainstream artiste, they are the underground ones.)It was my guilty(secret) pleasure listening to them,
I didn't want to share with anyone.
Probably only to a good friend of mine, because we both clique and felt in love with dark indie songs.

Till today, their Pompeii hits millions, I was a little sad when everyone gets to know them.I felt like they were not exclusive to me anymore; JUST LIKE HOW LANA DEL RAY GOT REALLY POPULAR.

it was like " Ahhhh Nooooo" ☹

Well, back to the topic:

My virgin Laneway experience was full of anticipation. Since I have never gone to Laneway before, everything was new and exciting to me. I've always wanted to go since 17 but didn't had the $$ and friends ☹ to go with.

We were such newbies that we got everything prepared way before had; shades to bowler,
wines to food coupons.

P/S Festive goers aren't allowed to bring in liquor so we had some wine at 2pm, i felt really weird to have booze at such a hour, when the sun's up, sky's blue.

Talking about cool outfits, festive goers really put up efforts in dressing up and probably the only time to express your style sense and to stand out from the crowd. Sunflower maxis, Unique head pieces, Suspenders and Dr Martens. I love how everyone dresses up to express, ain't impress.
(They might be trying to impress but OH WELL! I appreciate their dressing sense / much inspirations for my next Laneway )

The chill and hippie vibes will really get you going.( with a little booze,of course)
Its like Our local Coachella.

In the midst of Angus and Julia Stone, rain starts falling. Still, we had fun grooving in our ponchos and drinking tequilas.

Oh! Apart from the chill indie music, there's several tents around: photo booths, barber shop, games,food and beverage. ( Yayyy to a mini carnival)

You know what's the highlight of the festival! when you bumped into familiar faces☺ ☺ and meeting new people with the same music taste, its just heartwarming.

(what i really love about Laneway is that no one judges and just have fun)
