99 calories afternoon snack: Strawberry Chocolate Crunch

March 11, 2015

"here's your perfect dessert if you are a sucker for strawberries and chocolate fondue."

I don't own an oven and I'm not quite a baker. Thus I'm always looking for no bake recipes / baking hacks when preparing for desserts.

Years ago, me and my good friend prepared this strawberry dessert for our church picnic. I thought it would be good to share with the lazy ones who are preparing for picnic/potluck.

Oh! && yes it's chocolate fondue inspired

1. Grab some Strawberries from your nearby groccery store.
(KITCHEN HACK : you can soak your vegetable/fruits in soda water to remove chemicals of pesticides.)
YAYY, IT'S A BERRY-BERRY DAY
2. and some Convertible Chocolate
( tip: normal chocolate would not be able to return to its original state(solid) completely )
Ignore this chocolate, bear in mind always use convertible chocolate

3.A bowl of ice water

4.Melt the convertible chocolate until its creamy and silky

5.Dip your berries into the melted chocolate

6. Leave it in ice water until the chocolate returns to its solid state

7. Place it in a plate/box and freeze it for 1 hour or longer (optional)
tip: by freezing it, your berries have an icy crunch ( natural popsticles)

  8. && Viola! You're done !

Last tip, if you are bringing this out for picnic, place it in an ice box,
if not your convertible chocolate might melt )':

TO ALL BERRY LOVERS OUT THERE:
HAVE FUN TRYING THIS GUILT FREE DESSERT
